SHORT-BARRELED RIFLES (SBRS):
A rifle is a gun typically fired from shoulder level. The barrel has a specific pattern of grooves known as “rifling.” A short-barreled rifle is any firearm that fits the definition of a rifle and has a barrel less than 16 inches long or an overall length under 26 inches. If your weapon has a folding or collapsing stock, the overall length is measured while the stock is in the extended position.
