What does MILO stand for?
MILO is an acronym for “multiple interactive learning objectives.” This was originally a placeholder name during product development. Eventually users of the product started to refer to it by this acronym, and so it became the default name for this type of simulation. MILO is an overarching term for any type of simulation used for training your judgment skills. The term “MILO training” refers specifically to simulators for use of force, commonly used in police department training.

CCW Classes

Classes

If you are looking for the best place to get a CCW license in Tucson, look no further than The Hub! We offer convenient and cost-effective CCW classes in our gun store, which allows you to learn valuable skills while getting your concealed carry permit. Our Tucson CCW classes are six hours long (from 9am to 4pm with an hour break for lunch) and teach you the basics of safe gun ownership. These classes also feature shooting. You should be familiar with basic firearm operation such as how to shoot and how to load/unload your gun before taking a CCW class with us. If you want to go over these skills, our Firearm 101 classes might be a good fit to start out.

SUPERIOR TRAINING

Even if you own a gun and go to the shooting range regularly, you may not know how to use your firearm in an emergency situation. When you take a CCW class, you will get the real-life knowledge you need to use your gun safely and efficiently.

RECIPROCITY

Reciprocity is the right to carry your firearm in states other than Arizona. You do not have reciprocity outside of AZ without a CCW. With a CCW, you can travel and conceal carry in up to 36 other states.

LEGAL ISSUES

In the ideal world, you would never need to defend yourself using your firearm, and if you did, you’d be fully protected under the law. Even with Arizona’s Stand Your Ground laws, having a CCW is another tool to help you with any legal issues that come from using your firearm in self-defense.

It can be frustrating to go through multiple background checks and long waiting periods to buy a gun. When you complete a CCW class, you can purchase guns more quickly and easily.

SAFETY IN MORE LOCATIONS

Arizona law prohibits concealed carry in certain locations for those without a permit. With a CCW, you have peace of mind knowing you can keep yourself and your family safe. Some of the locations that you need a CCW include - restaurants that serve alcohol, national parks, and city parks.

Our state-of-the-art MILO Range tactical simulator is a virtual reality (VR) experience where you can use laser pistols and rifles to act out tactical scenarios. This is the same VR training that the military and police precincts use to train their professionals, so you know you are getting the absolute best.

When you book a training session with the MILO simulator, which is located in our facility, a Hub Simulator Safety Officer (HSSO) will supervise your training. They will select real-world situations that will best help you prepare for the worst-case scenario. The HSSO will also help you pinpoint skills and techniques that will help improve your tactical approach.

Our MILO Range is not only for tactical training, but it is a fun activity to do in Tucson. It is a great way to get your friends together for a unique experience. If you’re tired of bowling, bars, and other predictable outings, the MILO Range lets you try something new and unique. Our entertainment sessions allow up to four users at once, so you can bring your friends and have a good time fighting zombies or dueling one another.
